Montana Educators’ Credit Union was formed on January 2, 1996, being the 1^st new credit union chartered in the State of Montana in 33 years. We began serving only school employees and their families in Missoula, Sanders, Mineral and Granite Counties, but now we are open to all Missoula County residents. Our focus is providing great consumer products at a great price with great service.

With more than 1500 members and over $10 million in assets, MECU can provide you with the same service as the bigger financial institutions but still know your name when you walk in the door or call us on the telephone.

Our staff has a total of over 90 years of credit union experience and we love to serve our members!
